ABOUT
Springstone Equestrian has been in operation since 2004 and was started by Heather Jackson after being asked to take over the training of several young horses. Since then, Heather has operated out of several different farms with multiple students competing in Eventing, Dressage and most recently in the Jumpers.
In 2020 Heather moved Springstone Equestrian to her own property in Wilsonville, Alabama, about 45 minutes from Downtown Birmingham. The new farm is on 17 acres lined with 100 year old pecans and oaks. There is a 15 stall barn, two arenas and a home where Heather and her family live.
Heather's primary focus for the new barn is training and breeding top quality sport horses for eventing, dressage and show jumping. She also trains riders from basic horsemanship to competition. Springstone has a a select group of young horses for sale. Limited Boarding is available for outside horses but is primarily reserved for horses in training.

Heather, quite literally grew up on the back of a horse. Her family has ridden for generations and Heather got her first pony when she was 5 years old. She has been teaching and training professionally since college. She has competed since she was 9 years old in Eventing (through Preliminary), Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers. Heather has trained and cliniced with a variety of world class riders including Buck Brannaman, J. Michael Plumb, and Amy Tryon.
